Kung-fu for Children and Adults

Students are invited to take part in 2 classes, to try and see if they like practising martial arts. After that classes are paid one at a time,

  • No contracts or Bank automatic withdrawals.

  • Children classes are every Wednesday from 4 to 5 PM

  • Adult classes are every Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM

  • Recommended ages for children classes is 8-9 y/o to 14-16 y/o.

  • For adults thare is no age limit. We have students in their 50s & 60s

  • No colored belt ranking. All students wear same color belts: red

  • Students only give one exam, for Black belt when invited by Sifu.

  • Students start learning stick techniques from day one.

While the physical aspects of exercise and Kung Fu training improve children’s general health, it also improves emotional health with increased self-esteem and self-confidence as well as decreased tension, stress and anxiety.

Self-Defence

Basic techniques include Proper exercise form, punching, kicking, blocking and evasion.

Focusing & Listening

Students learn to focus on the task while improving their listening skills.

Respect

Respect is one of the most important aspect of martial arts. Students are taught to respect the Art, their teacher, themselves and each other.

Discipline, Behaviour

Classes are fun and fast paced. Students are kept busy; poor behaviour is not tolerated.

Self-Confidence

Students are guided to achieve goals, Short term and long term, which in turn increases self-confidence.

Physical Fitness

Kung Fu training enhances most aspects of Fitness, such as balance, strength, power, speed, agility, reaction time, coordination, endurance and cardio-vascular capacity.

Coordination & Motor Skills

In order to perform Kung Fu techniques, the student needs to develop physical coordination and motor skills that can be useful in other activities.
